Rachel Kavathe is an artist, landscape architect and urban designer. Her work focuses on our connections to the natural environment and ideas of place. She creates abstract artwork inspired by the colors, forms and textures of Indiana landscapes and native plants.
Rachel grew up in Indiana and is inspired by observing the natural world. Her studio is located in Columbus, Indiana where she focuses primarily on stone sculpture and acrylic painting. Her work uses a range of materials, including Indiana limestone, marble, alabaster, copper, brass, 3D printed materials, acrylic, resin, and natural found objects.
