Anabel Hopkins  
PAINTER

Anabel loves to paint impression-istic landscapes in oil, pastel, and acrylic. She also creates abstracts. She uses color, composition, value, and texture to create bold paintings that entice viewers to see meaning personal to them. 

Teaching is also important to Anabel. She conducts classes and private ses-sions in landscape, acrylic and fluid acrylic pouring. 

Anabel is juried member of the Indiana Artisan Project and Hoosier Art Salon. Her art is also on exhibit at galleries in Carmel and French Lick. She has won prizes in several exhibitions.

Julie Taborn  FUSED GLASS AND
PMC JEWELRY

   

Julie enjoys creating fused glass vessels, tree sculptures, and functional items including sushi sets as shown here. She also makes 2D and 3D wall art. 

 

She has 17 years of experience in the art of fused glass. While she is also self-taught, she has studied with professional glass artists from Oregon, Michigan, New York, Wisconsin, and Australia. 

Another of Julie’s favorite art expressions, recently learned, is artistic jewelry using Precious Metal Clay. Her PMC jewelry is primarily made of fine silver with sterling silver findings. She often incorporates fused glass cabochons and other gemstones into her jewelry. She became certified in PMC through the Sawtooth School of Visual Art in North Carolina.
