| I am a mixed media artist creating collage,
fine crafted gourd art, jewelry and what ever else strikes my fancy! I
am also a trained SoulCollage® facilitator who would love to work with
you or your group. SoulCollage® is an intuitive process for exploring
your inner Soul Self and your creative nature by making a deck of
personalized cards. It is an amazing process that will fascinate you as
you make each card. |
| I am a member of Hoosier
Artist Gallery in Nashville and Art Alliance Brown County. My gourd art,
mixed media painting and jewelry can be seen at the Hoosier Artist
Gallery, Gallery on the Green in Nashville, and by appointment in my
home studio.
I am a graduate of Herron School of Art in
Indianapolis, IN and an Occupational Therapist with an MS degree in
mental health practices. Through the years I have always created my own
art and used the creative media with patients and clients as
appropriate. Many have shared with me that the use of the arts have
given them some of their best and most exciting learning. I am a firm
believer that art and the creative process is healing.
I teach the beginning SoulCollage® classes, gourd art
and mixed media/ collage painting classes. I would be interested in
working with special interest groups with SoulCollage®, ie: women's
groups, cancer support/survivors (of which I am one), special health
needs, grief, and personal growth and transitions. SoulCollage® classes
are taught in the Traditional Arts Building in Nashville; I am also
available to come to your group with enough students. I can provide all
day workshops, individual sessions, weekend retreats, and 1/2 day
classes.
