My home and studio are outside of Nashville in Brown County, Indiana. I have a passionate interest in building high quality antique reproductions of the eighteenth century colonial period and Shaker pieces from the nineteenth century. I do custom casework as well. Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany and Maple are my woods of preference. Careful research of the original is done to determine design detail and precisely how the piece was made and finished before work begins. We select tree trunks supplied by a trusted Brown County sawyer which allows us to guarantee that there is consistent grain, figure and color throughout the piece. For the reproductions to command the attention and admiration of prized antiques, meticulous care is taken to cut dovetail joints by hand and use mortise and tenon joinery the same way as the old masters. All finishes are hand applied and rubbed.

As a history teacher for many years, I developed an appreciation for the beautiful furniture and fine craftsmanship of the woodworkers of the 18th and 19th century. I have studied with Randall O'Donnell to improve my craftsmanship and knowledge of woodworking.
